Central Region Wrestling Tournament Videos

Thomas Dale captured the Central Region wrestling title on Saturday for the first time in 19 years with a score of 195 points.

The Knights did not have any individuals win a title but three finished second.

Second-place James River (145 points) had three individual champions including Patrick Nowaczyk. The 140-pounder had been a runner-up in regions the past three years.

Manchester finished third with 120 1/2 points. The Rapids’ Jared Anongos was named most outstanding wrestler and Thomas Dale coach Chris Persing garnered coach of the year honors.
